Wouldn't you like to come to Hakusan-yu after you visit Higashihonganji Temple? Hakusan-yu, which uses groundwater in Kyoto, has various baths. Hakusan-yu has 13 kinds of medicinal herbal baths: blueberry, green tea, some herbs and so on.

The medicinal herbal bath, infrared sauna and massage bath, jet bath, Jacuzzi, electric bath and cold bath are in men’s section. Women’s section offers more kinds of baths. Besides, it also has jet bath (called “super jet tornado”) and open-air bath. This is the key to popularity of Hakusan-yu.

Hakusan-yu also has sulfurous bath and only three sentos have sulfurous bath in Kyoto. You will be feeling as if taking a bath at a spa. Sauna, cold bath, sauna, cold bath . . . . If you repeat this cycle, you would like to drink beer after taking a bath. But please, don't drive after drinking.
