Goko-yu （五香湯）

Because Goko-yu is featured in "Dk Eyewitness Travel Guides Japan," a lot of travelers come here everyday. At a nearby hotel you can get a 20 yen discount coupon. A brief manual in English made by the staff about how to take a bath is also available, so please feel free to speak to the clerk when you have a question. At Goko-yu you can enjoy a bath which is as great as a bath in a health club for only 410 yen.

Goko-yu has many kinds of baths: Bijinno-yu, bubble bath, medicinal herbal bath (it contains ginseng), Jacuzzi, milky bath, Himalaya's rock salty bath, classic sauna and cold bath. Pay an extra charge and you can take hot rock sauna for 600 yen per 50 minutes and wash off the dirt. You need to make a reservation.

In the lunchroom, you can purchase drinks, noodle, an ice-cream cone, oden and so on. You can eat and drink if you don’t take a bath.
