Funaoka-onsen is the historical building that is registered as tangible cultural property and it also enjoys good reputation. It was originally built as a Japanese traditional building before being remodeled as sento after WW II.
You can enjoy watching the carvings on the ceiling and the rich tile art. You will be surprised at these delicate beauties. These are worth seeing at least once. Funaoka-onsen has a large variety of baths: electric bath, massage bath, infrared sauna, sauna, jet bath and high temperature bath. In addition, it has two types of open-air baths: rock style and hinoki style.
Funaoka-onsen has also many varieties of drinks. Near Funaoka-onsen there are many tourist attractions such as Imamiya Jinja Shrine and Daitokuji Temple. Please come to Funaoka-onsen and refresh yourself.
